A home from home for your child - Appletree Day Nursery
We have a small group of 6 babies aged 0 - 14 months with two Nursery Nurses to care for the children. We provide a loving home from home atmosphere where your child can feel relaxed.
We have 2 enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to care and educate the children ready for "BIG" school. The staff continually plan with the Learning Outcomes in mind to develop the children. Termly planning provides numerous opportunities for the preschool children to gain confidence, self-esteem and independence, as well as reaching their full potential in all areas of their development. We encourage the children to learn and speak basic Welsh on a daily basis.
The children enjoy practising for sports day which is held in our own fields and the parents love attending. Both children and parents also enjoy our Christmas play which is held in a local village hall and adds that special touch to Christmas.

We also have a group of 6 older babies aged 14 months - 2 years. They are cared for by 2 nursery nurses. We provide the older babies with lots of stimulation inside and outside throughout their day.
Our team provide a safe interactive environment where activities are planned daily to help encourage your child’s development. Messy play is encouraged using sand, paint and water which are all good fun. We also enjoy going for walks to the local park and using our play gym and outside garden area daily (weather permitting).
We have 2 groups of 8 children with four Nursery Nurses caring for them. They have the perfect view of all the animals out of the windows and their outdoor play area. We provide a wide range of activities including music sessions, outside games, dressing up and baking cakes so each child can develop at their own pace, whilst learning how to share with others.
We have a dedicated schoolers building for children attending state nursery as well as Appletree (wraparound). This is our Fireflies group, where we also provide breakfast club and after school care for older children. We can take children up to 10 years of age, although places are limited and priority is given to children who also have siblings attending our nursery.
